Yippee!
After a hard day's work of hauling and flinging pies, I like to settle down with nice bottle of beer and watch aliens and Time Lords and Cylons, oh my! So, idio, you got spoilers for me yet?

Well, BSG isn't as exciting this season, it just feels like they're filling until the big reveal. And why kill off Callie? It just seemed gratuitous.
Was it actually a spoiler that I knew the Callie was going to be a cold body by the end of the season? Not as cold as what we got last night, perhaps, but I knew she was toast from several dozen hints.
Which in a way was sad. One of the reasons I loved Battlestar at first was Callie. And somewhere along the way, Callie's character was turned into something that was not appealing or even sympathetic to me any longer. I think one of my last moments of enjoyment of Nicki Cline was a very pregnant Callie actually getting a bunch of laborers to listen to her husband when he kept failing - it was a silly, hysterical reference to the early seasons of M*A*S*H with Henry Blake and Radar. Only the Chief was never someone you would compare to Col. Blake.
I think more happened last night than we or our adrenals realized.

I'm sure it did! I'm an early to bed person, so it's tough staying up late and I dozed during bits, but the battle between the Cylons is majorly significant, though you just knew it was an ambush! The Lee/Laura power struggle is setting up, also. I should watch it again, cos I know I missed stuff.
