So what's goin' on?

I'm workin', and watchin' my way through the West Wing, though not at the same time. Not much else. The election is swirling around me, but not through me at the moment. I'm tired of the campaign and just want it over with.

I'll be working Election night at my regular job, but in the morning, will be covering the poll for my little town. Unlike the election itself, being a poll volunteer is fairly exciting.

Which brings me to a problem - the building I work in is reasonably proof against analog TV signals. When at work that evening, how should I keep my staff and I apprised of the news? Does the digital signal penetrate better? Whom will be streaming their live TV signal over the Internet? My university has gigs, yes gigs, of bandwidth - streaming video can look real good. And we have a 42" plasma screen.

Now if TV networks would just broadcast our football games on Saturday . .

I will keep my eyes and ears open id and let you know if I find something.

I would love to see the election over too. We were planning my kid's bday and I thought to myself, "wow, that is after the election." Then I wondered what things will be like after the election.

Will we be satisfied or will we all be fighting to count the votes?

My guess, Id, is that

MSNBC and

the DNC

will both be streaming live. They did during the conventions.
