Well, another Pasco County substitute teacher's job is on the line, but this time it's because of a magic trick. The charge from the school district — Wizardry!
Substitute teacher Jim Piculas does a 30-second magic trick where a toothpick disappears then reappears.
But after performing it in front of a classroom at Rushe Middle School in Land 'O Lakes, Piculas said his job did a disappearing act of its own.
"I get a call the middle of the day from the supervisor of substitute teachers. He says, 'Jim, we have a huge issue. You can't take any more assignments. You need to come in right away,'" he said.
When Piculas went in, he learned his little magic trick cast a spell that went much farther than he'd hoped.
"I said, 'Well Pat, can you explain this to me?' 'You've been accused of wizardry,' [he said]. Wizardry?" he asked.

The guy should sue on the basis that he wasn't given due process before being disciplined. He has an absolute right to be thrown in a lake to see if he floats before they can fire him for being a wizard.

He shoulda turned the supervisor into a newt!
The stupid doesn't burn as much if you laugh.
What kind of society allows children to be raised by parents who think a man can literally make a toothpick disappear by means of wizardry?
If I were the supervisor, I'd consider calling Child Services to investigate the parents. Seriously...

Just what I thought, a 'right to work state'.
At the end of the article:
As a substitute teacher, the Pasco County School District considers Piculas to be an "at will employee." That means the district doesn't need to have cause for not bringing him back at all.
What they're doing to innocent working people these days is insidious.
What other sorts of things float?
Churches!
Very small rocks!
Oo! Lead! Lead!

The very same one that allows children to believe that a man walked on water, turned water into wine, multiplied loaves and fishes and rose from the dead.
Don't forget Cheeto Jesus! And Mary on a sammich. Stupid humans.
How about the woman who thought her ultrasound was a replica of Jesus on the cross? Just was a couple of days ago.
Stupid humans.
