Well, isn't that nifty?

Let me say that I have no idea what I just did, I just followed the instructions to add this stuff to the site. My great accomplishment is reading & typing.

But we now have spanned posting available so we don't push one another off the front page so easily.

Purty cool. I like having the ability to hide part of a long post. Plus, you can put surprises behind the fold. hehehe

My great accomplishment is reading & typing.

The one task that I still refuse to conquer!
What's this mean?

I read the instructions and typed what was before me on another page. I couldn't begin to tell you what it meant or how it worked, only that it promised to let us section posts. For all I know, it gave the Chinese government permission to snoop on our postings at the same time.

As long as it stops seizing my computer on my first cup of joe... I'll be alright!

Id, cool update. However, I cannot get the "read more!" off... even tho I deleted the link in the box and there is no read more. I don't want to have to read all of the instructions.

Tell me the secret, oh, site master.

For all I know, it gave the Chinese government permission to snoop on our postings at the same time.

I thought they were already doing that.

Hmm, neither can I. I may need to see if I can find another mod that makes the full post division only if used instead of on all posts. ProgressievHistorians posts are all long winded, so the problem isn;t as noticeable there.
