Who Needs a Dagger or Gun?

When small planes are so convenient?
Mike Connell set-up the alternate email and communications system for the White House. He was responsible for creating the system that hosted the infamous GWB43.com accounts that Karl Rove and others used. When asked by Congress to provide these emails, the White House said that they were destroyed. But in reality, what Connell is alleged to have done is move these files to other servers after having allegedly scrubbed the files from all "known" Karl Rove accounts.

The Akron Beacon Journal is reporting that the private plane of the GOP's highly-placed "IT guru" Mike Connell's went down in Lake Township, Ohio on Friday evening. Connell was killed in the crash and is reported to have been the only person on board.

Small planes. What a perfect way to eliminate people.

According to the following article, Connell was being threatened.

"I don't usually reveal sources, but I think this is incredibly important. Michael Connell died in a plane crash last night. He was a key witness in the Ohio election fraud case that I have been reporting on. More importantly, however, he had information that he was ready to share."

This is why Felt wanted to remain anon.

Ran out of gas? You have got to be fucking kidding me, right?

Ya beat me to it Idio... how much has anyone heard in MSM... I had an article from MSNBC with only but the crash, nothing extra, no ties to bu$h, rove or anything... just the guy's name.

I'd like to hear snark's opinion... he always loosen's the "tin foil hat" for me.

There was a dkos diary yesterday on this, too. As far as the comments went, many were skeptical. So the guy knew he was threatened. And now he's dead. Don't tell me he didn't have a stash of proof in case something happened to him. I mean, the guys who had no problem starting two wars, letting a city die, and letting another die, but keeping the photos out the news would have no problem killing off one noisy whistleblower. So why get in a small plane?

Well it was all in God's hands, right... I guess. Connell was super religious, Catholic.

Until he started to get death threats he probably never thought the bu$hies would kill him. He was always loyal to them.

But yeah, if he's smart the wife and 4 kids have back-up information to either set them up for life or seek revenge.

Unbelievable.

Why is it that only people like us can see the obvious?

Running out of gas (from mysteriously leaking gaslines?) is just as believable as failure to maintain adequate airspeed.

Anjha, and of course we have no investigative media that might raise an eyebrow to the uncanny deaths of politicians and those connected politically. Ron Brown, Paul Wellstone and Mel Carnahan, were good men who met untimely deaths in small planes, and the timing always seems, well, timely.

You'd think, with the number of important people dying in light aircraft crashes and statistical probability, Cessnas would be falling out of the sky every hour.

What I wanna know is....

...What did Steve Fossett have to do with the whole thing?

And John Denver for that matter!!

Why did they kill John Denver?

Seven of Six said...

Both Fossett and Denver were flying experimental aircraft.

snark said...

Riiiight...that's what they want you to believe!

Fossett was not flying an 'experimental' plane when he crashed.

Ok, how about Thrumon Munson and Cory Lidle? Huh?

And did Buddy Holly have some secret knowledge that the government wanted kept secret? How about Stevie Ray Vaughn? What did he know?

Oh yeah, that's right... guess who made the engine. Champion out of Wisconsin... LOL.

Then there was the spy mission Payne Stewart was on when the plane went down. Thanks CNN for the cross-country take down.

Stevie Ray Vaughn died in a helicopter crash.

You can't deny Connell's plane going down didn't work out to Rove's and the bu$h cabal's favor.

Yeah, I guess it did.

But the lack of any single shread of evidence of WMD's in Iraq certainly worked against their interests. Surely, they could have done something about that?

Call me a skeptic. I'm a big fan of Taleb's Fooled By Randomness and The Black Swan. Frankly, if you are so convinced by such a coincidental event you should also believe in Intelligent Design. I mean, what are the odds.... ;)

And by the way, a steel frame building never ever feel down before just as a result of fire damage.

But... but... cheney was happiest on 9/11. ;)

You working this week or off?

Working today and tomorrow. Although tomorrow is looking to be pretty chill because the bosses just announced that we're closing at 5pm tonight and going downstairs for Happy Holidays cocktails!

Fa la la la laaaa, la, la, la, laaaa!

Okay, but here is what I want to know. What are the chances that if you are a Democrat you might die in an airplane crash vs. if you are Republican?
