At first, I thought it was a joke from the Onion. It looks like one o' them wedgewood plates from the Franklin Mint. Even Steve Clemons, who has a high tolerance for stuff we'd think of as icky, called this full of fail.
Well, even Colbert waited until he won the Peabody before making a fetish of the award. This just looks like one o' them toolboxes or guns they paint pink to make them seem more appealing to women. Only tackier. Come on, replacing the stars and bars shield with his butter package sunrise logo?
It just occurred to me - isn't the Israeli flag light blue? ZOMG! It's a dogwhistle! He's telling Israel that the US government will be subsumed by AIPAC!
Wait, it already is...Manchurian Candidate! Arghhhhh!
The logo is an artistically logical interpretation. The story of how it came to be must either be fascinating or of complete banality as the campaign suddenly decides it's completely clueless.
Anon - this is important stuff. Either these images are going to become more frequent and form a narrative for the campaign, or the campaign is going to figure out how much hubris this is making for them and put it away for a more appropriate time. Unlike flag pins, pastors ranting against whitey, and fist bumps, this is something the campaign really did itself and consciously.
Anytime that the campaign does something that the majority of the people think is something from 236 or the Onion, then I think that they are in trouble and that that action might need be re-thought.

Funny! I thought Anon was dj, forgetting to add his name (what, too lazy to get a google account, dj??).
Really, "you guys used to care about stuff...?" That's gotta be a joke.

No, I have a google account. It's just that Google makes it. . .unpleasant to toggle between alter egos, so I just use "Anonymous" most of the time.
