I wrote a college paper on de-evolution in 1978... of course I've de-evolved since then.

Hey Anjha, How is Seattle Police Chief Gil Kerlikowske? He was named as Obama's drug czar.

BTW, I must apologize for not being around much... the parents are taking up a lot of my time.

I get time to read a few sites, lurk and maybe get a post in.

Tomorrow the wife is taking a day off and we are off to enjoy ourselves. I asked the boy if he needed a babysitter... "How dare I think my 12, almost 13 year old would need a sitter!" Just concerned about his safety!

Was your premise the same as KoRN's? That the stupid red neck hicks have 5-8 kids and the smart educated folk have none to 2 at the most?

I should read up on that; I have heard his name a LOT over the years but do not pay much attention because it is local news. Plus - I live in the Burbs and what happens downtown does not affect me at all (it is always all about me.)

I also heard that he pegged KC Exec Ron Sims for something - was it HUD Director? That is a great choice. I have always liked Sims but apparently there are some gripes towards him.

He has been KC Exec for a long, long time.

I will read up and let ya know.

Yes, yes you must!

I miss all of you and it seems nobody posts or chats anymore. I have to friggin' stalk you all - all over the Nets so that I can play!

Good for you two!

It is so important to do that and when you don't you eventually end up in the position where you do not even want to anymore.

It is the "fuck you, why don't you go to work" stage of the relationship. I hope that you never get there.

"How dare I think my 12, almost 13 year old would need a sitter!"

Isn't that incredible when they start staying home alone?!

Kiddo has been really independent - especially this year, now that he is in Jr High (and bigger than me.)

It is really difficult to look up at my baby, whose voice is now that of a man, and whose shoulders have broadened out past mine and try to tell him that he needs a sitter.

We recently had to go to an event at night had to get him to spend the night at a friends and he could not comprehend that we would not let him stay home alone 'til midnight. Night is different than after school. Dark time is different, dammit.

Independent little man.

It is so bizarre. He is not my baby anymore and I sometimes have to remember that he is not an adult either. I cannot put the adult kind of pressure on him (even if he will be ready to shave any day now!)

BTW - I still think that we should hook our kids up on line or on Xbox Live or something - I think that they would really hit it off.

What games do you allow your son to play... my boy loves Halo and some Call of Duty game, some others as well.

On Xbox live he plays Halo 3 and Guitar Hero World Tour.
